'Asian Governance: Paradoxes of Development'

The purpose of this Conference is to bring together an international group of scholars, academics, researcher and experts from different disciplines to mutually enhance the quality of governance and public services in Asia Pacific region discover the multi-faceted problems and emerging opportunities to ensure the positive impacts of good governance. 

Interested scholars and practitioners are invited to share their experiences, discuss their perspectives and present concrete proposals to assist governance and public services in the Asia Pacific region and bring out recommendations to grapple with the inerrancies of development. More specifically, participants of the conference are encouraged to present papers and participate in group discussions on developing strategies for building sustainable development and fair governance practices in Asia.

  • NGOs in Global Governance and Value Judgment;

 

Corporate Governance:

  • Governance in Financial Sector;

  • Social Business and Sustainable Development;

  • Social Market Policy and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR);

 

 

 Environmental Governance:

  • Green Economy and Better Governance;

  • Disaster Management and Mitigation;

  • Managing Climate Change;

 

Information Technology Governance:

  • Good Governance through “ICT”;

“ICT” for Sustainable Development; 

 

 

General Instructions: 

Abstracts should not exceed 600 words and Full Paper should not exceed 5000-8000 words, explaining in crisp notes the following sections:

a) The central theme of the paper in 50-80 words

b) Hypothesis in 50 words.

c) Central arguments in brief. 

d) A brief baseline literature (books, reports, narratives and public documents) on which the paper would be based upon in 150 -200 words.

e) Methodology and theoretical foundation in 150 words
